UMI’s coilover take up spring kit aligns and preloads coilover systems for quiet, trouble-free performance. The high quality aluminum slider and high tensile flat spring prevents hat movement upon full extension and fits Viking as well as standard 2-1/2″ coilovers (2.100″ ID). The 90090 when fully compressed adds 1-1/8″ installed height to the spring pack. Sold in pairs. 100% Made In USA.

UMI’s take up spring kits solve the problem of loose springs and dangling hats when the vehicle is lifted off the ground. As many of these are used on race cars, there is often tire changing and general maintenance. The 90090 adds only 1-1/8″ of thickness at full compression but as much as 9″ (rarely needed) when extended. This kit provides the finishing touch when dialing in your Pro-Touring style car. These can be added at any time, even after initial purchase of other coilover kits. 1-1/8″ of free space on the coilover is required.
NOTE: Not commonly used on hybrid coils.
