UMI Equipped at 2023 OPTIMA’s DriveAutoX

OPTIMA’s DriveAutoX Presented by UMI Performance is a series of Autocross Races. With four different events in four different cities. Drivers are put to test with the challenges that come with each unique location. This week DriveAutoX came to UMI Motorsports Park, among the many impressive competitors were UMI Equipped vehicles.

Mike Stewart’s Firebird

This weekend’s DriveAutoX GT winner, Mike Stewart, raced his UMI Equipped Pontiac Firebird Formula to the head of his class. No stranger to the victory lane, Stewart is a seasoned Classic Muscle Car competitor and can be seen racing at UMI Motorsports Park events. His Firebird is fully equipped, running the entire UMI catalog.

Steve Marshal’s S10

Steve Marshal is no stranger to UMI Performance. We first met Marshall at The Syracuse Nationals with his UMI Equipped Chevelle. He’s represented UMI at many UMI Motorsports park events and other autocross competitions. At DriveAutoX, he raced strong in his UMI Equipped S10, with a front Cornermax Kit and an adapted G-body sway bar to fit the custom 3-link rear.

Pat Gorman’s Cutlass

Pat Gorman’s 1970 Cutlass is UMI Equipped! Featuring a front Cornermax kit, Gorman can be found racing in pro-touring and autocross competition all over the East-Coast.
