4th Gen Camaro brake upgrade

It’s great to have strong brakes, especially when they’re cost effective. UMI’s 2120 caliper bracket has been a mainstay in the 4th Gen Camaro upgrade world for quite awhile now. Originally designed for the C5 Corvette caliper, the 2120 sets the foundation for the C5 upgrade.

C5 calipers in good condition are getting tough to find. Wilwood’s SLC56 caliper is a great solution. We chose Thermlock pistons to reduce heat transfer during road race activities and also upgraded to their Type III Mil-Spec hard anodize finish.

We chose Fragola brake hose 322014 with Extreme Black coating along with adapter fitting 581603. This places a 1/8 NPT to -3 AN conversion in the correct location.

To use racing brake lines an adapter is required. We chose Russell 640411. As with any hot rodding project your part details may be slightly different than ours. When all is said and done, you’ll love the increased performance of this swap.
